I have the impression that part of the reason that this program was created was that so all students would have an early offering. That said, however well-meaning, it feels icky to me.</p>
<p>Another quotation from the Inside Higher Ed link:</p>
<p>“While Braun said specific plans are still being developed, she envisions that the first day of the program would have the groups in separate sessions, ‘exploring their own racial identity and thinking about power and privilege.’”</p>
<p>This is just so comical. Ooooh, I wonder how I would be “exploring my own racial identity.”</p>
