Move In - Brandeis

My daughter is a freshman and will be living in NorthQuad. Any tips on move in day? What time is better for arrival to avoid some of the lines? Any suggestions to make it less stressful? Thanks

The earlier, the better. There will be a line, but the school does a pretty good job at streamlining the process. When you pull up to the school in your car there will be people guiding you to exactly where you need to go, and you basically don’t need to move anything in yourselves. The OLs (Orientation Leaders) will move everything in, even if you help bring things up they’ll carry everything heavy up. You’ll have to move your car relatively soon, as soon as everything is emptied, but after you go and park it in the designated areas, you can come back and set everything up in the room. It’s relatively stress free, the line definitely grows the later you come.
