I went to a high school (pretty well ranked) and had a 3.93 after two years with mostly all honors classes and 3 aps then i went to another high school and got a 3.93 for 1 year. and then i moved again to a school with a 100 point scale so they converted all my a’s to 97s, a- to 93, so I went from ranked 14th out of 500 to 18th out of 250 AND they lost all the honors classes from the first two years… so im worried colleges are going to not consider me because of this or will they know that its bogus to rank me 18th because i havent taken a single class with anyone in my school before this semester?
Don’t worry about your current class rank. When you apply to college, you will send official transcripts from everywhere you studied, not just your final transcript. The admissions committees will be able to see all of your records and will interpret them appropriately.
Don’t worry about your class rank. I went to a competitive public high school that didn’t rank and that didn’t prevent students from going to ivies and other top schools.
