Went to see this over the weekend with the wife and found it very interesting - It does not spend a lot of time politicizing things so much as showing that college costs are out of control and something will probably eventually 'give'. Would be interested to know if any others went to see the movie.

One review of the movie - I agree in that it tried to do too much in too little time, but the things brought up were definitely issues I see on this board frequently. One of the most bothersome to me is the ‘rock climbing wall wars’ that schools are doing to try to lure more students into schools that feel more like country clubs than colleges.

For balance, watch “Race to Nowhere.”

I imagine rock climbing walls are less expensive than pools and courts and in many zip codes less expensive than fields. Yes, costs are high, but I don’t think it’s the rock walls that are pushing it over the top. My D actually has rock climbing (indoor) for her mandatory PE credit next fall. When you go to school in the frozen north or sweltering south an indoor, vertical, low sq footage installation like that is a pretty efficient use of resources.
