any austin powers or olsen twins movie is bad in my book.

Napoleon Dynamite was a friggin' waste of my life. So was Alexander. Elizabethtown was pretty bad too, I only went because my friends are Orlando Bloom obsessed (to this day I still can't understand the type over that man) and I was seriously falling asleep every other second.

Oops, I meant "hype", not type.

ebert and roepers worst 10 movies of the year pretty much summarize it.... they forgot Rebound and Big Mommas House 2, by martin lawrence

anything with rob schneider in it is automatically god awful

Just in case anyone forgot...LOTR sucks..Oh, to anyone who has read Jurassic Park (the book), wouldn't you agree that the movie sucked? (When compared to the book that is)

I don't get the LoTR hate. I mean, the cinematography alone should keep it out of the "suck" category...

No, Jurassic Park did not suck. It wasn't as good as the book, but it didn't suck. It was entertaining and when it was first released, a groundbreaking film in every way.

Napoleon Dynamite, I didn't even get it, it was just stupid slap-stick humor.
American Pie
That movie with the singing dolphins and the aliens? It was so ridiculous that I can't even remember the name.
King Kong

I said it sucked WHEN COMPARED TO THE BOOK. I loved the movie everytime I saw it, but when I read the book two days ago, it blew the movie out of the water :) I think ima go read Chricton's other novels too.

I agree, the book Jurassic Park was on a completely different level than the movie, and the Lost World movie was so different from the original text, I would hesitate to even compare them as the same work. The only truly horrific Jurassic Park movie was the 3rd one which was simply garbage. The other two were quality popcorn flicks.

And amen to all the "Alexander" haters. What a dissapointment...

Big Mommas House 2 hasnt even come out yet, and that was a summary of the worst films of 2005. so they didnt forget it. and i liked the first one. maybe not oscar worthy, not that that means much. i mean it was funny.

Wedding Crashers, The absolute worst movie I have ever seen. I fell asleep on it four times!

Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy?

Sadly, it did not live up to the book. At all. Here I agree with the masses.

Grandma's Boy. I can't believe that I even saw that.
Bulletproof Monk. Horrible. The only thing that saved it was Chow Yun-Fat.

Garden State is one of the greatest movies ever. Enough said.

napoleon dynamite :-/

Most movies are horrible. In fact, all movies but Marx Brothers don't deserve to be watched. Well, most anyway.

Hahah, most of you are probably too young to watch it/know about many of these, but here are movies that actually suck, unlike most of those listed by you guys:

House of the Dead (or anything from Uwe Boll)
Waterworld
Xanadu
Battlefield Earth
Glitter
Howard the Duck
Jaws 4
Speed 2
Spice World
Gigli
From Justin to Kelley
Freddy got Fingered
Wild Wild West
Kangaroo Jack
Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever
Cabin Boy
Biodome
3 Ninjas
Street Fighter
Barb Wire

Yes, I've seen them all. Yes, I hate myself.

I've seen them all too UCLAri. i like when kevin costner drinks his pee in waterworld and, when i was younger i loved the spice girls. in fact, i saw spice world with my friends the day it hit the theatres. i remember i thought the movie was soooo gooood.

Ju-On: The Grudge.

It's the only movie I've ever seen that I didn't enjoy even a little bit. Hell, even Napoleon Dynamite had its moments. But this one...ugh.

Ju-on...another example of a Japanese horror movie with scary children in gray makeup.
