I am about to move to North Dakota to school and I am curious on what the weather will be like..I know it will be cold, but what exactly should I be prepared for? The school I am moving too is very close to Minnesota, which I heard is very cold. I am not use to snow, I don't think Oregon really ever gets snow. What kind of clothes should I bring? Are they any certain pair of shoes I could get? I plan on bring a bike to school, will I still be able to ride it during the winter? Do the sidewalks get paved? During class, are there places to hang up your coats? Prepare me best you can with what I should bring to deal with the cold and the snow.

Just watch Fargo on Netflix. That should give you a good idea of winters in North Dakota.

haha. Fargo…

But no, really. It can get very cold (Below Zero, regularly). It can also snow. A TON. Bring a parka, jeans, gloves, hat, and I usually skip the boots. (I live in Minnesota). Sidewalks and driveways and roads usually get plowed and such. Hang your coat on the back of your chair. No problem.

Buy some cold gear underarmor to wear under your clothes in January/February.
