moving in early question

hey,
i dont know if this question has been answered but does anyone know what happens if i move in to my dorm earlier than my move in date? are they jst not gonna let me in my room? i might have to go a few days earlier than my actual move in date and i need a place to stay so... thanks!

you'd have to pay around 75 dollars for each extra night you move in before the first move in day which is sept 22

If my move-in date is the 23rd or 24th, is it possible to move in on the 22nd?

That would be great...

you should be able to change your move-in date online on the housing website someplace...

however, if you happen to show up on the 23rd without changing it, it's not like they're going to turn you away...

Awesome.

Wow, this is gonna save me $150.

people already know their move-in days???

EDIT: oh wait, sorry. i misread the posts.

ckings86..since they can't really turn me away, are they still going to make me pay 150?

lolli.. when exactly do you want to move in? i can answer your questions loser, just give me a call haha.

depends on how early you are thinking about showing up... if you try to move-in BEFORE the first move-in day, then yes, you'll be charged. but say your move-in assignment is on the last day of move-in, if you show up on the FIRST day, then you won't be turned away OR charged... however, in that case, it'd be easier just to change your move-in time...

Dang it's sept 20th. better than 22nd though. I was hoping to move in on 19th..and enjoy rest of the weekend hanging out with my family in the city. darn

pretty much friday before zero week right? im actually trying to sign up to be a move in assistant since im taking summer session c, im wondering if the MIAs move in early enough for me to just move the stuff into my new room since im in sproul next year anyway...

couldn't u move in a day earlier for free if there is a legit reason?
