Moving senior year... Advice??

My dad has recently been offered a job in San Francisco. Luckily, it's in the bay area and offers lots of opportunities for our family, like an urban environment and more diverse educational chances. Lowell high school is approximately 6 miles from where I'm supposed to live(: Unfortunately, I'm an incoming senior this year and have to move high schools. I have a few predicaments with this situation.

First off, if I want to go to Lowell high, I'd have to submit an application (which includes proof of residence) by June 17th when we don't officially move out of our midwestern house till mid-June.

Secondly, my guidance counselor from my high school is retiring, meaning I don't really have anyone to go to for the GC letter. :(

Thirdly, the graduation requirements differ from Kansas since I'm moving across several states. I don't want to have to sacrifice my relatively high GPA (4.67) and my ranking in order to fill these needs. :(

Help???

You’re going to have to talk to the school and explain, and hopefully they understand. Lowell is a good high school, my friend goes there!

Run away from home and live in a corn field.

Well, I don’t know if you fulfill the University of California admission requirements already, but they only take into consideration your sophomore and junior grades, so if you’re applying to them for college your senior grades won’t really matter.

In what situation would you have to sacrifice your GPA and Rank? The school will probably somewhat accommodating and make sure that your schedule is manageable.
