I'm currently a sophomore, and will be moving next year.

Most colleges want 3-4 years in the same language, but that won't be possible for me because my new school does not offer the language I'm currently taking.

And will colleges get 2 separate transcripts from each of my schools? with 2 separate GPA's?

and just any general words of advice for a kiddo moving from a suburban public high school in Dallas to Westchester County would be helpful.

Sometimes colleges will ask for two transcripts, one from each school. Others will accept a transcript from your most recent school. Talk to your new school and see how they deal with the GPAs (whether you current GPA will be factored in to your new one, or whether they will be treated separately; how your old grades will show up on your new transcript, etc.)

Universities will understand that you are unable to continue a language due to the new course offerings. You may want to ask your guidance counsellor to include that (I'm not sure if language offerings would be normally included in the guidance counselor's school profile)

Best of luck with the move!
