MS@Cornell or PhD@Georgia Tech

Hi, there!

As April 15th is coming, I think I must make the final decisions on my graduation education. The choice would be between MS@Cornell and PhD@Georgia Tech. Majors are materials science and engineering.

I wish I could have a satisfied job in a company after the graduation; however, I wish I could have a PhD degree as well.

I am wondering whether I should pursuit a PhD at Georgia Tech directly or I should firstly go to Cornell and then reapply for the PhD program. If I choose to get a MS at Cornell and then apply for a PhD program, must there be a high possiblity that I would get a better offer than Georgia Tech?

Any advice would surely be very helpful to me!

Thank you so much!
