MS-Mechanical Engineering Stanford!please help

I am a Senior at University of California San Diego, I transferred to UCSD 1.5 years ago from a JC. My UCSD GPA is 3.5 for ME and a minor in Law & Society, in addition to lots of leadership experience such as officer position in SWE, AS engineer senator, orientation leader and research experience in robotics. I am a women in engineering and in a way minority .... I have very good recommendations and last summer I took a controls class at Stanford. Stanford is my dream school, but I am not sure if I can get in with a 3.5. I am applying with no aid...should I have any hopes of getting in?

Thanks

that’s hard to say. just compare your stats to past grad profiles

u wuld prolly get in…get ready to shell some real cash tho.

How can I look at past stats…? Thanks

Your stats is OK, but since UCSD is not every good at MechE, your chance at Stanford is pretty low. Iam an undergrad at Stanford and I know most of the Master students have 3.7+ and from top ten engineering schools i.e. MIT, Caltch, Georgia Tech. There is always exception though

btw, they don’t offer financial aid in grad school. ONly offer TAship or RAship
