Hey all,

I’ll be applying to four different Masters programs in the UK: MSc in Accounting and Finance at LSE, MSc in Finance at University of Warwick, MSc in Finance at Imperial College London, and the MFE program at Oxford. Can anyone give me an idea of my chances?

School: I will be graduating this May with a Degree in Finance from the University of Missouri. I’ll be completing my degree after only 3 years (will they care about this?)

GPA: 3.95 out of 4

GMAT: Have not taken yet, but I’m expecting a score in the 700-750 range.

Recs: One from an economics professor who I’ve come to know well and another from my supervisor at a bank I worked at last summer.

Work Experience: I interned at a mid-market commercial bank last summer and worked at a public policy “think tank” in Washington, D.C. the summer before that.

Weaknesses as I see them:

School prestige

No math classes in college unless Econometrics counts (scored a 5 on the Calc BC in high school and thus tested out of all the math requirements for the Finance Degree)

Age (20)

Little work experience

Thanks for any help!
