The interviews thread gets really rarely replied to, so I figured I'd post here.
I have an interview with a MHC representative in my country, and I'm curious as to what to expect. Is it a get to know more about the college type of interview, or the kind that they get to know you better? It wasn't really specified anywhere.

Also, what's standard attire for this? For a girl, specifically. I have seen posts about this, but for guys. Do jeans work? It's going to be at a hotel

I think interviews are little of several things–a way to get to know you better, a way for you to learn about the school, and a way for them to get you excited about the school.

How the interview goes really depends on the interviewer. Is this an alumna, or someone from MHC. In any case, come prepared with some questions about the school to ask, an answer for why a woman’s college in general, and why MHC specifically.

I would wear what is appropriate to the place where you are interviewing–Nice jeans might work, likely better would be slacks or a skirt.
