Much Different From SAT Prep??

Hello all, I got an 1890 on my last SAT and want to bump it up to somewhere in the 2000s. My CR was low so I'm focusing on that.

Now i'm also gonna take the ACT and I was wondering if using SAT study materials are adequate for ACT.

If not, are there any book recommendations? I barely see any talk on this

thanks

I’d say your SAT writing prep is good enough for ACT English. ACT reading is more objective so you may want to practice a bit to get used to it. ACT math requires some trig so I would learn that.

ACT science…the bane of human existence haha. This seciton trips a lot of people up due to its harsh curves. There is nothing like this on the SAT so I would definitely practice ACT science. It is esentially a specialized reading passage with graphs and charts.

Use the “Real ACT” book from the ACT company for the most accurate tests.
