how important is it with chemical engineering to have internships? I assume very because of the low job number compared to others.
(Also environmental engineering and materials science/engineering)
Thank you!

Beyond very. Internships are critical for all engineering majors, if not all college students. Very difficult to get hired at graduation without some work experience.

ok, thanks, i was wondering

???

What are you asking? What low job numbers???

Anyway…you should get internships or REU’s no matter which discipline you select.

low numbers? As in low internship amounts? or low Chem E jobs? Either alternative is inaccurate. Maybe in your area…
