If one studies two different languages in college or has two or even three different majors/minors, is it then unreasonable to study abroad?

I dont know about in the US, but in the UK if you study 2 languages you divide the time abroad between the two different countries.

It really depends on how your course schedule lays out and how long it will take you to graduate if you factor in study abroad.

I’ve taken three different languages in college, and now am on a summer study abroad program in Salamanca, Spain. Since I have two majors and a minor, it would be difficult for me to work a full semester program into my schedule and still graduate in four years.

Just because you have a busy academic schedule doesn’t mean you shouldn’t try to study abroad–I think, especially with your interest in languages, it would be a mistake not to. Look for a summer program at the very least (possibly one with an intensive language study program?)–for example, in Spain at the Colegio Unamuno (colegiounamuno.es) you can get six credits in a month, easily, and experience all of the same cultural elements of the country that you would in a semester.

But that´s just my 2 cents…

Would you forget the other language much?
