Multiple SIRs after an Appeal

I was initially not admitted to UC Berkeley, but decided to file an appeal. In the mean time, UC Irvine offered me a great financial aid package (including the Regent's Scholarship, which has many perks), so I sent an SIR to them since I hadn't heard back on my appeal to Berkeley before the deadline.

I got a letter this week saying that my appeal to Berkeley was approved! Naturally I'm excited, but I'm a little worried about the "you only get to send an SIR to ONE UC campus" thing I've heard so much about. Surely they make exceptions for appeals? If they don't, the only way I could have accepted Cal's offer after the appeal would have been to let UCI slip away on faith that it would go through (which from what I've heard would be a foolish assumption).

Can I send an SIR to Berkeley now? How to I withdraw my SIR from Irvine? Should I even bother? I've heard that Irvine is a good (but not great) school, and I wouldn't have to pay a dime to go there (as opposed to UCB, where I'd have to take out at least $10k in loans before I graduated).

with an appeal you should get a new deadline of when you should submit your appeal
for example i appealed to ucsb and my new deadline is june 17th.
if you decide to go to cal, call uci and withdraw your sir and go to Berkeley, there was a $100 deposit you will not get back though
