I've heard that lots of people typically include any other extracurricular achievements, and that's something I wanted to do for debate because I have a lot of stuff that was left off of the "activities" section.
At the same time, I also needed to explain why I suddenly switched schools in the middle of junior year.
How should I incorporate both ideas in one section?
Oh and for the switching schools part, is it alright if I number the reasons why I transferred instead of writing a nice essay?

A short paragraph/essay is probably the best way to explain a switch of schools if you think it needs to be mentioned. A numbered list usually seems petty and a little rude. Instead, I would focus on the “big picture” of why you changed schools and what effect it had on your schooling.

Don’t write an essay. This section is supposed to be short and to the point. Complete sentences or bullet points are fine. You’d just list them both. Say extracurricular debate:… blah blah blah… transferring schools: … blah blah blah… Maybe have your GC also mention why you switched schools.

A bulleted list is convenient.
