what does a typical music major schedule look like? i am a music education major, and my primary instrument is the violin.

First two years is generally just music theory so you have lots of room to take GEs, languages, clusters, or other random classes. You'll probably also be in some sort of ensemble, but your counselor/teacher/adviser or whoever will help you with that.

Lots of music majors look at doubling in econ or some other department, so if you're interested in that, go look at the course requirements so you can plan out your schedule. If you're thinking about pre-health and music...good luck

how many classes do most music majors take? do yhou know anyone who has switched out of the music major program to the college? What does this schedule look like?
