What other major would be easy to double major with music management? As in that a Lot of the classes overlap so I can graduate in 4 years?(&have a life)

My mom wants me to do something practical like accounting but I'm not that type of person. So it's basically to keep mother happy and have a back up.

I was thinking business management (ughhhhbooooorrring)

I would think that there’s a lot of crossover between music management and any business major - after all, the music industry IS a business.

I almost don’t understand how you think that if business management is boring, that music management wouldn’t be boring.

I don’t know what schools you are looking into, but I googled the music business curriculums at a few schools and found required courses such as Accounting 1 and 2, Principles of Marketing, Principles of Macroeconomics, Principles of Microeconomics, Business Law. Principles of Management, Introduction to Statistics, Business Information Systems, etc.

At the colleges I looked up, a music business degree is a business degree and the curriculum is 80% identical to any other business degree. It almost looked like it was a standard business managment degree with a music minor.

No sure there’s anything to bump; we all seem to agree that imagep already gave good, sound advice. Without knowing more about your abilities, background or drive to achieve we can’t suggest more ideas without being likely off base.
