<p>There is a workshop coming up that my daughter attended before college that we think those of you who live in southern California may find helpful. It's the Artist in Residence workshop taught by University of Michigan's Brent Wagner and Cynthia Kortman Westphal. There are two 1-day workshops on Saturday, May 17 and Sunday, May 18. <p>My son participated in this workshop at PSA in Torrance and he learned so much! Mr. Wagner and Ms. Westphal are both such wonderful, inspiring teachers. They show students how to approach an audition and they discuss everything from making specific choices as an actor performing a musical-theater song to how to prepare music for your accompanist. Great stuff. This workshop helped my son tremendously with future auditions, performances, and preparation for college. I highly recommend it.</p>
