So I got off the Wait List at Wake Forest University last Friday, and they gave me until tomorrow to decide if I'm going to matriculate...I was already going to Boston College, and now I can't decide between the two! Help me please!

Don't waste time asking a bunch of strangers. Listen to what your gut tells you about where you'd be happiest.

If you really can't decide do this: put both names in a hat. Shake. Pull out one. See how you feel now that you know that's where you're going. :)

But see, the thing is that I have tried to make a decision according to "my gut", and it changes by the hour! I wanted to get some third-party opinions...Also, I prefer the dart-board method to choosing colleges :D

You change your gut by the hour? ... no, no, bad idea. Exposing it to too much air can be bad, I mean, a little is fine, but...

when you were applying, was one significantly higher on your list than the other?

Wake Forest-- take the gut feeling of a random stranger.
On the other hand, if you go to BC, you'll be just a couple of subway stops away from me; I'll be going to BU.

Seriously-- Wake is supposed to be an absolutely wonderful place for undergraduate education.

I went to Wake - twice - it's a wonderful place, as advertised. But it's quite Southern - big Greek scene, most prominent Greeks are the offspring of wealthy businessmen, political conservatism is typical. I've visited BC, love the campus, love the area, love the feel of the campus. But could I acculturate with a student body where 80% are Catholic? - I don't know. How about you - are you Catholic? Conservative and religious? Your "fit" with the student body may be the key.
