My American Red Cross club at school is a failure... help?

So last year, the Red Cross club was a joke. It almost died because of the awful president. So this year, I'm a junior and I'm president now. I've called the volunteer head lady at my county chapter, and she really doesn't have a whole lot of things for us to do. And I can't think of very many fundraising ideas except selling cookies (that made a lot of profit last year).

Do you guys have any ideas of what members in my club could do that would make them enjoy themselves and be further interested in helping the world? Because honestly, that's the main message I want to send through this club. Fundraising ideas would be appreciated too!

I was also thinking of combining it with a different club that's related to Red Cross. Any ideas? I'm not asking you guys to plan out this club for me. I've done a lot of thinking and I really haven't come up with much.

Bump… tenchar

Well, at my school, the Red Cross club helps run blood drives. Maybe think about doing that?
You could also try and focus your efforts on something a little more specific: helping the world is hard, but it’s a lot easier to help one struggling group. Maybe run a Relay for Life? Make fighting cancer your objective? I don’t know, just spit-balling.

You really can’t think of anything? I just thought of 3 events that you can do to help raise money and get people involved.

Do you want to tell me those ideas…? Lol
