Oh, yeah! I attend that call. That’s really cool! Thank you, I’m sure you’ll do well wherever you applied too!
Ok, I definitely will! That would be really cool too.
So I know people tend to post where they were accepted, so here are the schools that have offered me admission.
Phillips Exeter Academy, Thacher School, The Lawrenceville School, Deerfield Academy, Loomis Chaffee School, Berkshire School, and Emma Willard.
I have been waitlisted at all of the remaining schools, including, Phillips Academy - Andover, St. Paul’s School, Concord Academy, Middlesex School, Milton Academy, Groton School, The Hotchkiss School, and Choate Rosemary Hall.
I have not yet decided where I would like to attend, but my top choices are Exeter, Thacher, and Lawrenceville.
As a Lawrenceville student, I’m obligated to tell you to come here—if you’d like, I’d be happy to answer any of your questions.
That being said, ultimately, your best bet is to go to revisit days. Nothing beats spending time on campus.
Hey! I know you’re not really considering but If you have questions about Loomis I can always answer!
I can help answer any questions related to Exeter.
My brother attended Exeter in the 90’s and absolutely loved it. He is Asian and from a small midwestern town (25,000 pop.). He attended Dartmouth ED because our older brother was there. But he wishes he went to Yale which in his mind was not a reach coming from Exeter. His HS friends are his primary friends even now.
He was overjoyed to have his daughter attend 2017-2021 and she loved it and is now at Middlebury.
The majority of their friend groups went to Ivies.
Just replying directly to you, @LeeMajors to say that my husband and brother-in-law also both attended Exeter in the 90s and they loved it. My husband is still best friends with his PEA classmates and they talk and get together a lot (we are actually renting a house with them this June when we return to the US for a bit). I feel like they’re my best friends as well since I have known them all for over 20 years.
Whoa, sounds like my brother’s band of friends! Are you one of them???They get a place on the Cape or get together every summer somewhere. It’s as important as spending Christmas with OUR family!
Not the same group, but fun to know there is another crew out there!
