Chances at Boarding Schools????

Hi I am applying to Choate, Lawrenceville, NMH, Suffield, Deerfield, and Webb in CA.

I have lived in four countries in my life, and recently I moved to a place where the school is awful, the teachers aren’t helpful at all, and the students are very closed minded and snobby (having lived in country X all their lives, and attended the same school all their lives) . I started junior year at X country in the middle of the 2015-2016 school year’s first semester. I am a junior, but I lost a lot of opportunities in sports as well (which I really love), especially cross country and soccer. The traffic is terrible here, taking around 2 hours to get home; it is wasting my time to do schoolwork and activities. I decided that upon this mess, it would be best for my sanity, intellectual challenge, and happiness to attend a BS. I am applying as a junior year repeat (my birthday is in the end of July of 99’ so I was close to being in a grade below anyways). I am really hoping that I can at least get into one BS, because it is really the only way for me to stop suffering. I love school, but the school I am currently in is rotting me inside, and I don’t want that to happen. Could you please chance me for the BSs just so I can prepare myself and not get my hopes up too much.

What do you guys think?
I have interviews with most schools on the last week of January: do any of you have tips or advice?

Thank you

I think you should be doing pretty well for NMH

Thanks for your help! I see you went there, how was your experience?? Just curious… Because NMH is one of my favorites
