Your SAT is sort of low, but your 3.83 unweighed GPA is good. IS your SAT low because of the Writing section? How did you do on the Math and verbal sections of your SAT? What's your class rank? I can tell you right now that your chances at Ross are not good, but if you have a good class rank and a good SAT math score, I think you are a match for the college of LSA.

Your Math is good, but your verbal is low. It would help if this time, you raise it by 100 points. Like I said, your chances at Ross are slim, but your chances at LSA, especially if you improved on your verbal score, are reasonable.

I don't think I can apply to ROSS directly or can i?
under some kind of special program?
what I thought i was going to do is applying to LSA first and transfer to ROSS later..b/c that's what was saying on UMich website..most students apply to LSA and crosstransfer to ROSS in their junior yr

Yes, you can definitely get into Ross as a Sophomore. In fact, most Ross students in the forseeable future will first have to complete atleast 2 semesters in the college of LSA before applying to Ross.

I think you are right Snorky, but I am not sure when Ross will become strictly a 3-year programs.

Awolves, only 4% of Ross students transfer into the program from other universities. 96% transfer in from the University of Michigan itself. So it is possible to transfer into Ross from another university, but the odds aren't good.

Ross used to be a 2-year program, but that has changed recently. Ross is now implementing a 3-year program and high school students can, for the first time ever, be admitted into Ross straight out of high school.
