Yup, this is just a normal kid,
and by the way I'm an international from an Asian country (K...) without a Greencard...and, of course, WILL NOT apply for the financial aid.

Hook: 1. My passion to solve the problems in Africa diplomatically and economically.
2. Korean kids,... speaking Korean, & (French, English, Arabic...the 3 major languages of African continent!)

So you can speak three languages, you have a great SAT score, and perfect SAT II scores?

Your GPA is great.. your AP scores are great, except for Biology. Are you planning to major in Biology, because that could hurt you? How were your essays?

It'll help that you're international.

holy cow, your rank is loooooooooow

if 20% of people really have better grades than you, then you won't get in yale

hmmm well i think the african thing will set you apart from most of the sciency intls, but its still a crapshoot

i think yale actually has a very good relationship with schools in china, not sure abour korea

I go to school in Boston MA. And my school's ranking policy is quintile division. The top kid and the second kid are all in the top quintile.
I know my GPA is worse than them, but we are still in the top quintile altogether.

thats sweet that your school does ranking that way. That would be very nice in a school like mine that doesn't weight and the difference between a 3.9 and a 4.0 is about 30 spots and being out of the top 10%.

how being an international can help?? Sometimes I read it's for worst, now for best.. :S
