You have a very dramatic increase in scores and your second round look very good. I am pretty sure you have to submit two subject test scores as well. You could be a strong candidate but you need extracurriculars to get into a school like cornell
I asked them about it, they say that architecture students need to give any one level of maths, they only require one test. As for the extracurricular, I have a lot of certificates for drawing and I have worked in an NGO. Thanks for replying
As I posted on the other threads you started today, you need to get your story straight. You said in another thread that you took the SAT I on June 6th and weren’t feeling well so you scored a 1790. You said you were hoping to score in the 2300’s in the fall. If that version is correct, with low SAT scores, weak EC’s, and as an international student, your chances are extremely remote of getting into a school like Cornell. If this version is correct, you have the grades and scores to apply but as I’m sure you know the competition from your fellow international applicants is brutal. If you don’t have amazing EC’s that will help you stand out from the pack then your chances are not that great (but obviously, give it a shot and see what happen).
Hi @soprana !
First, wow! how did you increase your SAT 1 scores by 570 points? Secondly, as a fellow international student I would say your scores look really good, and I understand that some high schools abroad don’t really offer extra curricular activities. If this is the case, have your counselor explain this. If not, well it may be detrimental to your application. Try to stand out in another part of your application! Anyways good luck to you!
@frenchyjr: Soprana seems to be lying. In another thread, he/she said the test was only taken once (1790), hoping to take it a 2nd time this October. In subsequent threads (like this one), a 2360 has been achieved. Dishonest posters don’t deserve replies.
