Extracurriculars:nothing really special
We don’t have math team in our school but I tutor math during ACE time.
i got several state-level art awards in the past two years. I just decided to study computer science and art at the end of my junior year, so I didn’t really attend any activities that related to computer science. But I’m learning basic programming myself currently and planning to join computer science club in my senior year.

I know my stats, especially my SAT, are not decent enough to get into CS at UIUC, I just wonder how much I can do to enhance my chance.

Thank you for reading!

Your Gpa is really good, but the sat is a bit low. Why not try the ACT and focus a bit more on your ECs. An act of 32 or more should be enough for Uiuc CS.

Thanks for your reply. Could u also recommend several schools that have good computer science program and fit my current score better ?

Based on your current stats for CompSci I would recommend :-
UC San Diego (slight reach if out of state)
UW Madison
Purdue University

Both UW Madison and Purdue University are on my applying list. I will definitely try to get a better Score on SAT. Thank you so much for your help.
