Bump…

I don’t know enough about a lot of the schools you listed but you look like you are academically competitive for many of the schools! However, you have weak ec’s and an average SAT score for Penn State.

Many of the schools you listed you could get into if you weren’t applying with hopes of being pre-med. But, since those are top pre-med schools, they scrutinize your app. Those are good reaches but make sure you have match and safety schools too.

@heeeyitschin how is a 2100 an average SAT score for Penn State; I think you are mistaken between Penn States and UPENN.

^^ Yea, he made an error there. A 2100 at Penn State puts one in the top probably 8 to 5% of admitted students.

I thought Penn State (Main Campus) and University of Pittsburgh (Main Campus) are my safety schools based on SAT 2100 and ACT 32 score. Is my assumption wrong?

What are the chances for other schools? Match or Does NOT match.

Bump…

EC’s - Additional

Recently completed the CPR training and I am now certified CPR (American Heart Association).

@Harrisburg
Although I don’t like chancing people because it is almost impossible to do so for the top school, I will step in to clarify something for you so you don’t get confused. Penn State and University of Pittsburgh are both safety schools for you because of their average scores and GPAs. You probably qualify for honors and probably a scholarship too. For schools that are top 20 on your list like University of Pennsylvania, it is all a toss up- who knows what happens.

I would suggest adding Case Western as match/backup. There is no application fee or extra essays and they are generous with merit aid. All while being ranked in the top 50 universities (37 USNews) with medical research, what do you have to lose?
