My chances at these UC colleges?

Hey all, so i am about to finish my 2nd semester of 11th grade and these are my credentials so far:

Sophomore year( Took 1 weighted): 3.5 weighted, 3.33 unweighted both semesters.

Junior year(Took 4 weighted): 2.5 gpa weighted, 2.0 unweighted. 2nd semester: 4.5 weighted, 3.89 un weighted.

Sat score: 2010

leadership

3 YEARS Varsity tennis.

State Level chess player
-200 volunteer hours

Internship at Dartmouth ivy. - I have a UC gpa of: 3.5

Helped elderly at Stanford.

The reason for my first semester fail junior year, was because i had a personal loss and i just could't focus. I had to recieve psychological therapy to get back. 2nd semester, i worked my butt of and did very well. So can u guys tell me my chances at UCSD, UCDavis, Uc Santa barbara, Uc Irvine? Will colleges understand my loss, and see my improvement 2nd semester. Is there anyway i can emphasize this point, or anyway i can improve my chances?

Sounds like you’ve got things back on track. I’m not sure how your second semester could be over…
With a 3.5 UC GPA and 2010 SAT, you’ve got a good shot a UCSB (70%). The others are more selective, I’ll give you 50/50 at all of them.

All the UCs look at a variety of factors so, your ECs and personal struggles are considered. Be sure to apply broadly, include a couple CSUs for good measure.

To improve your chances, do your best this semester. Ace the AP tests you take. Take a handful of AP courses next year and, maybe take the SAT and/or ACT one more time.

Good luck.

UCSB & UCSD: Low reach
UC Davis: Match
UCI: Match

I encourage you to also submit an app to UC Santa Cruz (Low match/Safety) and Cal Poly (which is the most prestigious Cal State). Best of luck.

UCSD low reach
You should get into two of the other three

Admissions are major dependent. Engineering and other STEM programs are the most competitive.
