Hey everyone here are my stats: unweighted GPA 3.8
weighted - 4.2
ACT- 28
top 10% of class
xtra curr = volunteered in India for 3 months
local volunteer at hospital for over 400 hours, Key Club, FBLA, lots of other clubs and volunteer activities....

do you think i have a chance..but also this semester grades didnt go that well i will probable only get a 4.2 even though i have 5 AP classes...also does UCD easily revoke aplications, like if i got a C in AP chem?

Is davis that hard to get in?
A 4.2 weighted is very good.
By the way, do the colleges count + or - 's from our transcript? and do you guys know of a good gpa calculator? most of the ones ive seen online are for college students going into graduate school.

i dont think they take that into consideration because on the application when it asks us to fill in our grades they dont go by +/- they just go with the letter alone...

another question do UC's compare students with students in their own community, for example if you live in Fresno will they compare you with other students in Fresno and determine your addmission or will they compare you with everyone who is applying? i heard it was just with the people in your community....

If you live in California, then you are in, while having a decent chance at the other UC's. I'm assuming that you are in-state because of the Fresno comment
