I was wondering what my chances are at UCI, UCLA, and UCR. Here are my stats:

9th: 4.0 GPA (W) 2 honors classes
10th: 3.5 GPA (UW) All Honors
11th: 3.8 GPA (UW) 5 APs and 1 careers in education class (I taught little kids in an elementary school)
12th: ?? Should be many AP classes though

I got a 25 on ACT and still waiting on my SAT IIs

did you take your SAT Is... because UCs require them.... I think those were the scores flopsy was referring to...

I'm curious as to your selection of UCs... very wide range...
- UCLA (do you think it's your reach)
- UCI (do you think it's your match)
- UCR (do you think it's your safety)

anywhoo.... SAT I scores would definitely help me determine where you would fit in the UCs... i really don't know much about act scores..

First you need to calculate your UC GPA. You take all the classes ONLY from 10th and 11th grades and calculate the weighted GPA, with honors/AP/college classes getting an extra point. Your 25 ACT gets converted to a 1140 SAT I (on the old scale), so that's pretty low for UCI and UCLA. You should get into UCR without much problem.
