My essay topic is on relay 4 life and cancer as both my mom and brother had cancer throughout my high school years. And I will have amazing recommendation letters.

one of the most important things to the usc admissions office is your enthusiasm. i chose usc mainly because it was such a spirited school. everyone here loves it and they came here because they love it. admissions wants to see that in their freshman class, especially if you have an interview. make sure they know how stoked you are about usc, and that you are passionate about things you did in high school (i.e. not just because they look good on a resume). also, you definately have a strong resume! however, there are certain majors that have a much lower acceptance rate than the rest of the university (i think the film school accepts 1-2% and architecture is really intense). if you really love usc, i'd say absolutely apply

Yah I have taken a tour of USC so I'm on their mailing list, and I would definitely schedule an interview...to show them I'm interested. Because I would love to go to USC!

And the spirit and tradition on the USC campus is what draws me to that school. The campus, students, and atmosphere was amazing!

I'm pretty sure I'm going to apply...thanks for the help.

By the way...when do you think the best time to interview is?

Your X-factors (e.g.: recommendations, essays, ECs) are terrific. Your GPA is respectable and your courseload difficult, but your scores will not get you into USC. They are simply too low and you need to retake and get a 1250 (M and CR) at the very least. Good luck and fight on!
