my chances at yale and upenn

i am hispanic.
no ranking.
SAT: 1430 (730V 700M)
3.84 Unweighted 4.14 weighted (i dont know how you guys are getting 4.5weighted GPAS, im pretty sure my school only goes up to like a 4.3)
AP English Language: 5 AP US History: 4
SATII Writing: 800 US History: 680 Biology: 660
good ECs but nothing amazing..i am president of a few clubs and an athlete although not recruited, hopefully really good essays and reccs.
this year i am taking 5 APS.
ive got a few safeties but id really love to go to either yale or upenn[id really love huntsman but ill probably just apply to the college.]
any thoughts?

i think you'll probably get into upenn, but Yale is quite a bit less likely. Have you thought about Princeton? I think Princeton gives more weight to minority status then Yale or Harvard.

i havent really thought about princeton because i dont think it fits me socially.im not into that whole old prep school type of thing, i want a more artsy atmosphere. thanks for the help though!

I have no idea, sorry :-(

ok i need answers guys. anyone have any idea

I am going to U. Penn. I am only 15 though...but I have assured myself that I am. You should choose Yale though because it is not everyday that you could possibly go to a college that begins with the letter "Y".

hahaa nice advice and logic. but i dont know if i can even get into yale.

Huntsman...you'll need to take the IIC, and they require a really strong Math curric. And I don't see a Calc on there (maybe you are taking this year). And you need a language SATIIs (which, I suppose, shouldn't be a problem for you and spanish). So take those tests.

It's all in the mind. I have higher SAT IIs and higher GPA, and lower SAT Is, less APs. I am applying to Harvard, Princeton, and Yale. I am determined to get in and know I will. If this shows up in your essays and application, you're in.

Good luck.

right, the reason i wasnt sure about applying to huntsman is because of my math..im taking calculus right now but im not too strong with math and i havent taken iic, i got a 620 on ic, which i realize sucks. so i most likely will just apply to the college of penn.

Apply to Brown, its "artsy" and an amazing school

i actually am applying to brown. but my problem with brown is that when i visited i didnt really like it or providence. it wasnt a pretty campus at all and everyone i met seemed kind of depressed there. its definitely an option, though.
