-Michigan State University
-Purdue University
-Indiana, Bloomington University

My background/stats.

-3.8 GPA under a 5.0 scale
-21 ACT Score, I took it twice, the other one was a 20
-Involved in Sports and Activities like Football and Peer Counseling
-Have made an improvement with Class Difficulties over the years, Started from very weak classes to very strong honor/A.P classes.

Also I was basically in special ed/prep/below general classes my fresh year, I really have no clue how the hell that happened, but I improved my way through soph year and junior year. After the 1st semester, I was taking pure General classes, Sophomore year, pure general classes again with great grades. Junior year, I started taking Honor/A.P classes. Senior year/currently, I'm taking A.P classes

I couldn't get As GPA worth as much in my fresh year as I could in my soph or junior year.

Iowa is your most likely on that list. Go on the Iowa website and calculate your RAI score and that will tell you if you are in automatically. If you don’t have the score to get in automatically, you can petition to get in. It might be getting harder to get in though, it is getting pretty popular between the affordability, the ease of getting in and the great football team. I would say Indiana and Purdue are reaches and I don’t know much about Michigan State except it’s cold.

Diesel, no one can tell you if you are going to get in to any of these schools. You need to get your applications in immediately if you are serious about attending any of these schools. Did you calculate the RAI for Iowa? You can get in with a lower RAI but if you have the minimum RAI, then you are in for sure. My son applied to Iowa and was notified within three days that he was accepted, but we already knew that because he had calculated his RAI score. These schools are all reaches for you based on your stats, so apply early is the best advice. Indiana will just run out of space pretty early and go to a waiting list. What do you want to major in? That makes a big difference in deciding between Indiana/Purdue.
