I know I need to step it up for college admission time (which is rapidly approaching), so I'd be grateful for any opinions or tips for me. I'll probably be applying to most of the UC's, but I'm focused most on UCLA, which I'm interested in for their film program.

4.3 UC GPA, ELC, top 3% of class rank
1910 SAT, 700 US History, 680 Literature (I know these are pretty low, so I plan on taking all ACT and SAT dates prior to my fall application)
Taken rigorous courses throughout high school, 9 AP classes and many honors.
Played football freshman year/surf team junior year, in school TV broadcast class, leader of ASB A/V team.

Started a Filmmaking Club at my high school, where film is pretty much inexistent compared to surrounding schools, and held President position for 4 years.
Attended a local filmmaking club sponsored by city.
Currently in an internship with a local television station where I teach kids to use cameras and also handle some video/editing work.
Competed in several local film contests, won a district-wide Anti-Tobacco PSA contest 3 years consecutively.
Started my own wedding/corporate video business which is pretty successful.

As for community service though...I'm extremely deficient. I've done a few marathon events, and I guess I've done some stuff related to film, if that counts. I've helped out a local little league team with video, and I've filmed an entire season of a surf team for free, but beyond that...I guess I have some time left to really boost this area.
