Hey I was wondering where I stand on these schools (no one chanced me on my first thread)

I'm in the top 5% of my class at a public school in NC thats rated "an Honor School of Excellence" in our state. My unweighted GPA is 4.7 as of this year (junior year) and unweighted is 3.9. My SAT's are poor, a 650 in Math, and a 600 both in critical reading and writing. But, I'm planning on retaking the SATs again, the ACT's as well and SAT II's.

Currently, I'm in four AP's; including english lang, environmental science, US history, and spanish lang. Next year I'll be taking AP calculus AB & BC (we have block scheduling), AP english lit, AP stats, and AP comparative government. I'll have exhausted all business courses in my school by next year (intro to business principles, marketing, strategic marketing, business law, small business and entrepreneurship...). I'm also taking French 1-4 (honors).

I'm a latino and have worked at a local clothing store since the spring of Freshman year. Now, I'm the assistant manager and work 15 hours a week.

Ec's:
-Varsity swim team (since Freshman year)
-Year-long private swim club since I was 6
-Key Club since freshman year. As of now, have volunteered 125 with the club
-I am founder and president of the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) at my school.
-I was the member of the Spanish club since Freshman year, and soph. and jun. year the treasurer.
As of Freshman year, I volunteer at the local university hospital in the summertime (100 hours volunteered).

-I went to China for 3 weeks this past summer with Duke to take a course on economics
-I also was nominated and attended a global business conference at Pace
-I took AP US Government and Politics when I was a Freshman at Georgetown University for 4 weeks in the summer.

What are my chances for:
UPenn:
UVA
NYU: Stern Business
UMICH: Ross School of Business (ended affirmative action)
UNC-Chapel Hill (I'm in-state)

test scores HAVE to be better.
and yes, ross is rather hard to get into.

like the targeted focus on business. make sure you emphasize that on your app. here are my predictions:
Wharton - No
Stern - No/Yes (50-50)
Ross - No/Yes (50-50)
UVA - Yes
UNC - Yes

I hate that I'm such a poor test taker! It doesn't make much sense to me, but I might as well apply ED to my favorite right? I already got books to study for the ACT and the SAT II's and the SAT I's. Thanks guys. I'll chance you if you want?

NYU Stern is a high reach - and no with those test scores it's not 50-50 like someone said. Stern is extremely tough to get into. but don't lose hope.... keep studying =)

This is the thing, I saw your resume (it was great), but I knew a girl from my school who goes to Stern and she said she didn't "do anything special" ??!! She's asian, so I figured since I'm latino and would apply to one of those schools ED I would have a good shot. Again, my standardized scores are terrible, but I got books to study for the ACT and SAT's. So, I'll retake them.

I'm pretty much basing where I could get in based on kids with similar resumes (not always the best idea you know).

For example, I know another Hispanic kid who got into Wharton, he was #1 in his class, but went to a very poor school. He played no sports at all, although he was in a few clubs. And to top it off, my two brothers both got into Michigan, one of which had a 2.8 GPA.
