My chances of affording college??

I am currently a senior in high school. I am constantly worrying about being able to afford college. I dont know where to look for legit scholarships. The only website I've filled out scholarships at was fastweb. And for some reason I dont feel like Ill get them. I got accepted into the university i want to go. But my grades were pretty average in HS. I dont want to go to a community college at all. I would appreciate if someone would give me somewhere to look for good scholarships that are easy to achieve. I am currently work at the dairy queen. And I only have about ten months to save as much as i can, but it sucks because we dont get that much business, so there for im not getting hours. This is really stressing me out. So, if anyone could help, it would be highly appreciated.

The best scholarships are directly from the schools themselves. If you have high stats, you are eligible for many merit scholarships. Check the sticky threads in the financial aid and scholarships forum on this website to get started. If you post your home state and stats, CC posters can give you some guidance.

Why don’t you want to go to community college? It is just as legit and cheaper than a university, If your worried about med schools not liking CC credits simply don’t take the medical school prerequisites at CC.

Or just do like everyone else and take out loans you will be paying for 10 years and work part time…
