MY chances of college acceptance

<p>I earned in Semesters 1 and 2 during freshman year:
Honors Physics:B/B
Honors English : B/B
Honors Algebra 2 : C/B
Honors US History : B/A
Gym : A/A
Computer Programming: A/B
Spanish : B/B
GPA:3.14</p>

<p>I earned in Semesters 1 and 2 during Sophomore year:</p>

<p>Honors Chem: B/C
Honors Bio: B/B
Honors English: B/B
Pre-Calc: C/C
AP Government : C/B
Music Theory: A/A
Honors Spanish: B/B
GPA: 2.85</p>

<p>I was wondering, with these grades, what are my chances of getting into a good university. I plan to stay on the AP and honors track, as well as participating in field hockey and other clubs. I'm hoping to bring up my GPA to at least a 3.5. If anybody has any clue as to whether i will be aqble to get into a good college pleae let me know.</p>

<p>Work hard junior year, that's the most important year. Basically, I had the same grades as you my frosh and soph year, ok, but nothing spectacular, like a B average, but junior and senior year, when it counted the most, I stepped it up got an A average, applied ED, wrote a nice thoughtful essay, got into a good school. </p>

<p>But you're gonna have to work hard, and basically stop settling for Bs and start going for the As.</p>
