The ACT score is decent, but doesn’t stand out.
The SAT II scores are very good.
The GPA is a big, big problem. The average unweighted GPA at Harvard is something like 3.98.
If your extracurriculars and volunteering are indeed average, as you say, then I can’t say I see your chances being very high.
Ultimately, you have your best shot when applying early action, and almost all applicants are deferred EA, so if you didn’t get in your chances aren’t great.
Also: I’m 99% sure that both Harvard and Princeton have single choice early action policies-I don’t see how you could have applied to both early action (I’m assuming this is what you did, as you say you were “deferred…to regular decision”). Please explain.
I don’t know if these colleges do in fact share information on EA applicants to ensure that these applicants are respecting the single-choice policies, but if they do and you applied to both EA, that may well be the reason you were deferred at both.
