My chances of making ND REA

Hi! I don’t usually post but I’m feeling very nervous and looking for some opinions. I’m applying for REA at ND (I graduated high school this past June but due to very severe financial limitations could not attend the colleges that I did get admitted to).
Anyways my stats:
3.8/4.0 UW GPA (my school doesn’t rank) (4.61 W GPA)
IB Magnet Program all four years so I took the most rigorous classes possible; also took some dual enrollment classes at the local college and earned all As
15 AP scores (most 5s besides four 4s and a 3)
36 ACT + W

Extracurriculars:
Captain the Science Bowl team to State semis (participated for 3 years)
Part of A-team in Quizbowl that finished 10th at Nationals (3 years participation)
Captain of Chemathon A-team
Math Club A team (3 years)
NHS, MHS, SNHS member
FDA Intern over 2015 summer
Wrote for school’s newspaper for four years
Around 100 hours of community service

I think my personal essays and supplemental essays described me pretty well. My teachers like me enough to still write me recs even tho I’m out of HS so I think my recs are good. What do you guys think are my chances?

Given my expertise on chance threads, I would say you have about a 32.78% chance of admittance. Oh wait, chance threads are useless. Just apply and see how it turns out.

I did already apply but I’m just nervous that’s all. No need to be rude.

Your UW gpa is a little lower then what I would like, but as you said, you have taken the most rigorous schedule possible including 15 AP courses and you have a 36 on the ACT. I believe you have a pretty good shot.

I’m assuming you didn’t apply to ND last year. Which schools did you get admitted to? Which schools were you denied? That information would probably give a clue to how most schools viewed your “resume” and an indicator of what your chances will be this year.

Yeah I didn’t apply to ND last year. My status is special last year since I was an international student and most schools required me to prove I can finance my own education (which I couldn’t prove so automatic reject). I was waitlisted from UChicago and Georgetown but again couldn’t prove I could finance myself since my family doesn’t have enough $$ to do so so they gave the spots to others. I made UMD - College park but they gave me no aid at all even tho I’ve lived in MD for like 6 years. Anyways, this year there is a change in my status so ND will consider me as a domestic applicant.
