I wouldn't worry too much about athletics. Attending games isn't much better than going to a bar and watching them with friends, or watching them on TV at a friend's house. I'm a sports nut attending a relatively big sports school, but what is important in an education is affordability and quality. If you can go to LMU, pay a relatively small amount of money, be in a warm weather environment, get a good education, and eventually get into the career field you want to be in, that's much more important than paying extra money and going to a school that has sports.

I agree with you acarta but I am just saying if he got a 1200 then he would basically not have to worry about it.

Right now he has a 50/50 shot like you said.

If he gets a 1200 that goes to like a 75/25 chance he is in.

Socal im positive ull get into LMU and pepperdine. If Miami has always been ur dream school, dont let money keep u from applying. Ur more than likely to get 10,000 dollars in aid like many of the rest, including myself. if u can afford it then great, if u get a better deal elsewhere then even better, if u get rejected (can happen but like I said, 50/50), then well makes ur decision to pick a school a lot easier :P.

Yeah Miami is my dream school, and I'm going to apply. If I don't get a good financial aid package, I'll decide if it is still worth to attend.

And if I get rejected, It will really suck, but I'll get over it.
