<p>u r rich! no financial aid? i think they'd take u even if you get 400 SAT I, anyway, you show a lot of dedication, so you'll get in while i'll get rejected, I am the same as you. Counting on luck at 115% at stanford, upenn, berkeley and UCLA. i am international too, but very very poor. can you sponsor me? lol

<p>don't feel bad, Rice is a reach for everyone! You really don't know what they want. You can have the greatest stats (1600 and 800s on SAT IIs) and extracurriculars up the wazoo and still not get in. It's so subjective. All you can do is apply and wait and see what happens. If you apply RD, though, it's only 17% admit whereas as ED and ID are 28% admit. Good luck!</p>
