my chances?

I'm very interested in Colgate (it's my top choice) and I am just wondering what my chances may be for early admittance.
-I had a terrible freshman year academically (3.7 with three weighted classes)
-Sophomore year I improved (4.2 with three weighted classes, non-weighted newspaper, section editor)
-Junior year I did well (4.7, all weighted except newspaper and got one B in AP World ((very difficult teacher, but colleges can't tell anyway, haha)), section editor of newspaper)
-Overall I only have a 4.2 and that puts me at 115/806 (14%) in my competitive school. I know it's not good, but my progression is very evident.
My Sats I only got a 600 verbal 650 math and 670 writing, but should definitely improve in October
E.C.s
Political Science club (have won a good amount of awards in Model United Nations competitions)

Junior state of america
Worked on democratic campain

Soccer
Missions trips to Louisiana for hurricane kartrina
And other random stuff

What do you think my chances are ED? Thanks!

Oh, I'm sorry, I forgot... I have a good amount of work experience also. Baby sat three years, gas station attendant (which was awful!) one year, and I now work at a grocery store. And I'm leaving out some small other activities, but you get the gist hopefully!

You should really focus on bumping up the SAT scores. Have you tried the ACT? Take a practice ACT test and see how you do on that.

Your rank and SAT scores are much lower than my son and daughter. My son attends Colgate and my daughter was waitlisted. She now attends Cornell. I would suggest that you really work on your SAT score.

ya, try out the act or retake the sat. shoot for a 32 or around 700s

Sounds good everyone. Thank you for your advice and yes, I am planning on taking the ACT in September.
