I am affiliated with two NGOs.
I havent yet given My SAT. I will be doing so in OCT-9th.
I am ranked top 1% amongst 106 students.
I have done some volunteer teaching in a nearby rural area for the underpriviledged children.

Do you think its worth trying Colgate? Does this college suit a person like me from Nepal. I will be trying for Full Aid because we can't afford it. Or do yo people have any other college in mind which might be more decent and more generous in AID? Please help me out.

Colgate has a long history of accepting foreign students with good academic success so, yes, you have a chance of being admitted. Your standardized test scores may be very important since your grades and class standing may not “translate” clearly to U.S. standards. Your English may be a second language, so you might need to take an ESL test. Your best approach is to contact the Admissions Office at Colgate and ask what they will need from you as a foreign applicant. You would be one of very few Nepalese students at Colgate! But, I imagine you already knew that. Best of luck in your application to Colgate which is an excellent school on a beautiful campus with an increasingly diverse student body.

Thank You Colgate Dad.
