...What do you think my chances are??

i think u shud raise ur SAT scores, take the SATs again..to fordham they r important factors in admission

Your SAT's are very weak considering you have taken so many honors and AP classes. Retake the test in the fall and aim for at least a 1300 (M+V) or consider the ACT.

Usually people who post chances here get good responses for me but i should tell you that you must raise ur SAT scores....i mean personally, i got a 490 in CR that i submitted to Fordham but my math score more than enough made up for it. If math is your weakness and you just cant do it...try to get around 500, and maximize ur Critical reading score. and you should be fine.

We just visited the school and from the statistics they presented I think that your chances are not good........definitely work on your SAT scores and take the test again. Other than your SAT you are great!

thanks, I really appreciate the honestly. and I'm retaking my SAT's in the fall, and I've DEF. been working on my math.

Good for you and good luck. Get some professional help on SAT preparation. There is a science to taking the exam and ways to improve your scores.

Second, if a Jesuit education is what you are attempting to accomplish (and presumably that is your interest in Fordham) there are 28 Jesuit colleges in the US, most of which have easier admission requirements than does Fordham and the top tier Jesuits. Not trying to discourage you.....its always good to have an objective and go after it.....but just a "cover your bases" response.

For example, the top tier Jesuit Schools: Holy Cross, Georgetown, BC, Fordham all have very high admission standards. They are all exceptionally selective in admissions. The next tier (and I hate to rank them...but just using admission scores to give you a better idea) are Seattle University, Santa Clara University, Creighton University, Fairfield University, St. Louis University, St. Joseph's University, Gonzaga University, Loyola Chicago, Loyola Maryland, Xavier University all of which have high standards but are perhaps more reachable for you, but you will still have to raise your math score a bit, I think.

The next tier is: Canisius (Buffalo), John Carroll University (in Cleveland), Le Moyne College (Syracuse), U Scranton (Scranton, Pa.), Loyola New Orleans (New Orleans), Regis (Denver), Rockhurst (Kansas City), St. Peter's (Englewood Cliffs, NJ), Spring Hill (Mobile Alabama), Detroit-Mercy (Detroit), USF (San Francisco), Wheeling Jesuit (Wheeling West Virginia). These schools have admission scores more near what you have.

For more information go to the Jesuit Schools website and research each school individually: www.ajcunet.edu

Go with God. He will get you in :)

LOL....prayer helps. Except in the case of Notre Dame.
