My Decision

What a long trip it has been for maguo...

wow when did he finally get his scholarship??? i must have missed the news of this

Have you missed the news? I got the 20k about 2 months ago. UM shot from dead last on my list to #2.
I'm really excited about finally settling in on a school.
How's it going with you, A2Wolves? Will you be a wolverine?

I'd love to talk to you all before I get on campus. I actually only know one person who goes there, and she is graduating. Please pm me or email me at maguo1@netscape.net.

No, I got waitlisted. I'm going to be a Hoosier if I can work it out financially.

Indiana is awesome Awolves. Gorgeous campus, fun little college town, friendly students.

I'm sorry A2Wolves. I'm sure you'll have an equally as good of a time. Better Basketball too. And there's always Grad school.

Yeah i'm excited for IU, I keep hearing about how great it is, and talked to a bunch of UM students who are like "don't be sad... it's hard here!" lol, but I can always transfer too, or look at G-School. And it's always nice to go to a school that's giving you money to come there, as to a school that's making you pay full tuition and you wouldn't be in the top 10% at.

A2Wolves. I was waitlisted at Michigan too, but after visiting IU on monday I am so pumped up about going there next year. The benefits of being a top student at IU definately outweighs the experience of being an average joe at UMich. I was admitted into the Honors College and am a Kelley Direct Admit, plus they gave me a $28,000 faculty award. It's a blessing in disguise in my opinion. Hope you see much success at IU. Go Hoosiers!!!
