Thanks for the videos and JHU info you have been posting around!
I created a CC account to message you because you seem very knowledgeable and I am having trouble making a decision, but couldn’t find a way to get in touch. I am currently choosing between UC Berkeley and Johns Hopkins. I am looking to go into the environmental field (accepted into GERC at Hopkins, CNR at Berkeley?).
What are your thoughts on the question?
What is your relationship to Hopkins? Are you from nor cal?

Just a happy alum who graduated back in the day.

I think the college search process is very individual but you’ll find places like Hopkins invest in their students and no matter what you do they’ll find time to seek you out.

Berkeley Freshman Class = 6,000 students
Hopkins Undergraduates (Fr, So, Jr, Sr) = 4,700

^^ I think that makes a compelling argument if you’re looking for a strong liberal arts undergraduate experience. Hopkins is just really a boutique style education and Cal is a great state school - but it’s still a state school.
