<p>I've been thinking a lot about the future, and college plans. I want to know what people think would be a good college for me to go to for Industrial Engineering. I like MIT, but of course, it's MIT, so it's likely that I won't get accepted. My only fall back right now is ISU, as it'll be dirt cheap (good credentials, in state), and I love the campus. I need other suggestions to check out. My parents are really pushing ISU, but my friend convinced me to start searching.</p>

<p>Have you considered looking at Northwestern? I don’t know if you look at rankings (I try to ignore them as much as possible) but the IEMS program is extremely well regarded, as in top 2/3 in the nation. </p>
<p>Just an option. Don’t freak out if you don’t get into MIT though, although it is an extremely good school, I personally believe that it is a better opportunity to go their for grad school.</p>
<p>Have you thought about Georgia Tech? It has one of the best IE programs in the country.</p>
